KPLC Testimonials

“The Pastor Stress Test was a highly immersive, scenario-based exercise that ran from early afternoon into the evening. It placed you in a simulated parish crisis, working through realistic challenges with role players, such as a difficult secretary, a contractor, and even the Vicar General, while managing volunteers, handling emails and paperwork, and preparing a presentation.

The experience was intentionally overwhelming. That was the purpose: to function as a true stress test. It forced you to quickly identify your limits and make decisions under pressure.

Despite the intensity, the environment remained controlled and safe, designed specifically for learning. That combination, realistic pressure within a structured setting, made the experience highly effective.”

“The content of the course was extremely beneficial to us. We said over and over to you and to each other how much each of us needs more of this in our lives, and how valuable it would have been for us to have this kind of training in seminary. We sincerely hope that you are able to continue and expand this initiative.”

“I'd recommend this course to anybody. I've been a priest for 25 years. I was wondering whether it would be a good fit for me. I wish I had it 25 years ago.”

Father G.G., Cohort 2

“This training is indispensable because it gives priests a field-tested, practical way to lead people and mission under pressure, building the habits of clear intent, disciplined communication, decisive action, and healthy accountability that directly strengthen parish life.”

“Having been trained to be obedient and then placed in charge has always left me insecure in decision making […] The course gave me clarity on how to accomplish this mission entrusted to me […] I finally have a template for leading without thinking I am somehow being disobedient to my Archbishop.”
